 As a teacher following copyright and fair use, it is always right to give credit when using other people’s materials. Specially as a teacher, I believe it is right as a role model in education and to students to teach and show for example for students to give credit to others work. Copyright allows to establish someone’s ownership of their work and protects their work. Making sure to have students understand their own work and how copyright right works and how they can establish their own copyright of their materials is important in establishing the understanding of individual projects and works of students. EME 2040 Blog 5

 My early experiences with instagram for my own personal learning network first at a young age was associated with connection to friends and some of my favorite celebrities. As I had gotten older I began to use instagram in a different way, when applying for colleges I used instagram to learn about college, make connections, as well as use their pages to find other websites and resources I could use to learn more. Into college, Instagram functioned in a similar way, Instagram helped with assisting in university announcements, learning about organizations, as well as other resources about the university. In future Instagram could be helpful in my future career with using its resources to make connections with colleagues as well as learn about resource connections.  Class pages can range from teacher information, class schedules, and contact information. In today’s society and overwhelming safety issues when it comes to schools it is essential to have precautions in media produced to the public. Such as on the Chiles High School page in Tallahassee Florida when going to different school departments only that of administration names and contact emails are given. Public safety issues make the media produced on school websites to be criticized for information being shared.
